Stephanie Gustin, MA, Doctoral Student-PhD, CCFS
I began my clinical work with Rugged Grace Counseling in early 2020, providing mental health care through telehealth during the height of the global pandemic. Supporting individuals and families through such an uncertain time reminded me of something I deeply believe; healing is not only possible, but also powerful, and we don’t have to do it alone. Being invited into someone’s healing journey remains one of the greatest privileges of my work.
For more than 20 years, I’ve supported children, teens, adults, couples, and families in areas such as trauma, child and family crisis, ADHD/ADD, autism-related behavioral needs, post-partum concerns, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, dual diagnosis, and relationship stress. My background includes Applied Behavioral Analysis, trauma-informed care, family crisis intervention, and behavioral treatment planning, allowing me to tailor treatment to each person’s needs with both compassion and clinical precision.
I hold a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Addictions and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Analysis, both from Purdue University. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, expanding my expertise in clinical assessment, social behavior, and trauma-related research.
My passion is helping individuals and families build resilience, insight, and sustainable tools to navigate life’s challenges. I strive to provide a space where people feel seen, valued, and equipped to move forward with clarity, confidence, and courage.
